Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 11, 2026 · Last updated: October 11, 2026

This policy explains what RejectedAlts Studios does with personal information on this website and in our Android apps. The honest summary is: as little as possible. Our apps run on your device without an account, without ads and without sending us anything. This page spells that out, names the few cases where a third party is involved, and tells you your rights.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

RejectedAlts Studios is the registered Ohio trade name of Victor R Okowita, a sole proprietor based in Avon, Ohio, United States. For anything to do with privacy, write to support@rejectedaltsstudios.com. The Support page lists our other contact details. We are the "controller" (the party responsible) for the limited personal information described here.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website at rejectedaltsstudios.com and every app we publish under the RejectedAlts Studios name on Google Play, including Flex Alarm Pro. Each app also has its own complete privacy page linked from its Google Play listing (for example, the Flex Alarm Pro privacy policy); it says the same things as this policy for that app, and the two are kept in step. It does not cover Google Play, Google's billing service, or any other company's service that you use alongside our apps; their own policies apply there.

3. Summary

  • Our apps collect no personal data for us. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no advertising ID, no location. What you set up in an app stays on your device; what Google's billing library sends to Google Play in the Play version is Google's (section 8).
  • We collect no personal data through this website. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no forms; our host keeps short server logs (section 4).
  • If you contact us, we get what you send: your email address or phone number and your message. We use it to reply and keep it no longer than section 11 allows.
  • Buying Pro happens through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see your payment details.
  • Three third parties touch some data: Google (Play purchases, your own device backup, and the Google Voice number you can call or text), Microsoft (our email hosting) and the company that hosts this website. Section 9 lists them.

4. This website

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and has no forms or accounts. We do not track visitors.

Hosting logs. Like almost every website, the company that hosts these pages may keep short-lived server logs (your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type) to run and protect the service. We do not use those logs to identify or follow visitors.

Fonts and other files. Every file a page uses, including its two typefaces, is served from this site. The pages load nothing from any other site.

Links. Pages link to Google Play and to Google's policies. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

5. When you email or call us

If you email support@ or hello@, or call or text our phone number (a Google Voice number, so the call, text or voicemail passes through Google's service), we receive your email address or phone number, your name if you include it, and whatever you tell us (for example, a bug report, a refund request with a Google Play order number, or a press question). We use it only to deal with your request and, where needed, to keep a record of a refund or a legal matter, and we keep it as described in section 11. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your message with anyone except as needed to answer it (for example, Google Play when a refund has to be processed there).

6. Our Android apps

These points apply to every app we publish, including Flex Alarm Pro and any later Flex app:

  • No account is created and no sign-in is asked for.
  • No analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or social-media components are included, and the Android advertising ID is not used.
  • The app's own code makes no network connections. It does not send information to any server run by us; we run no servers for our apps.
  • What you set up in the app is stored in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read.
  • If you have Android's device backup turned on, Android may copy the app's data to your own Google account, or straight to a new phone when you transfer your data, so it returns after a reinstall. That backup is yours, under your Google account and your device settings; we cannot see it.
  • The version published on Google Play includes Google's billing library, which talks to Google Play to process and check the Pro purchase (section 8).
  • Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage from your phone's Settings, deletes everything the app stored on the device.

If a future app ever needs to do more than this, for example an optional feature that uses the internet, its own section will be added here and to its app page before that version is released, and the change will be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.

7. Flex Alarm Pro

Flex Alarm Pro is an alarm and timer app. It follows every rule in section 6. In addition:

What it stores on your device: your alarms (label, time, repeat days, sound, volume and ramp settings, alert mode, Do Not Disturb choice, tile colour or background photo, sort order); your timers and saved duration presets; theme, custom colours, snooze, sort and widget settings; a cropped copy of any photo you pick as a background (Pro feature, saved in the app's private folder; the original stays in your gallery, and the Android photo picker means the app never gets access to your whole library); the reference to your chosen ringtone, not the audio file; and, in the Google Play version only, a small record of when you started the 14-day Pro trial and how much has been used. Two files are excluded from Android backup: that trial record and the app's internal alarm-scheduling mirror. The rest, including the cropped photo copies, is included if you have backup turned on.

Permissions it asks for and why:

PermissionWhy
Alarms and reminders (exact alarms)So an alarm or timer goes off at the exact minute you set.
NotificationsTo show the alarm notification and the ringing screen.
Full-screen notificationsTo show the ringing screen over your lock screen.
Foreground service (media playback)To keep playing the alarm sound until you stop or snooze it.
Run after restartTo put your alarms back after the phone reboots, the time changes or the app updates.
VibrateFor the vibration alert mode.
Keep the device awakeSo the volume ramp and auto-silence keep running while the screen is off.
Do Not Disturb accessOnly if you turn on "Alert during Do Not Disturb" for an alarm. With that access, the app marks its alarm notification as allowed through Do Not Disturb, so the ringing screen can show, and reads your Do Not Disturb setting to warn you when an alarm would be silenced. It never changes your Do Not Disturb settings.
Google Play version only: Internet, network state, Google Play BillingAdded by Google's billing library so the app can check whether Pro has been purchased and complete the purchase through Google Play. The app's own code makes no network connections; the billing library talks to Google Play, and Google handles that under its own policy.

It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, call, SMS or storage-wide permissions. There are no accounts, so there is no account to delete; uninstalling removes all app data from the device.

Google Play listing link: rejectedaltsstudios.com/apps/flex-alarm-pro/privacy/ (the same statements as this section, on one page).

The Google Play "Data safety" form for the app is filled in on Google Play when the app is listed.

8. Pro purchases through Google Play

Our apps are free to use. Some offer a one-time "Pro" unlock, bought through Google Play with the payment method on your Google account. Google Play processes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles the first 48 hours of refunds. Google processes the purchase under the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.

On your device, Google's billing library talks to Google Play to process the purchase and to check whether Pro has been purchased, and tells the app the result so it can unlock the Pro features; what that library sends to Google Play is handled by Google under its own policy. We do not receive your name, address or payment details, and the app does not send purchase information to any server of ours. If you contact us about a refund, we will ask for your Google Play order number, and we keep that correspondence as described in section 11.

9. Third parties we rely on

WhoWhat they handleWhy
Google (Google Play, Google Play Billing, Google Voice)Your Google account, the Pro purchase and payment, refunds in the first 48 hours, your optional Android device backup, and calls, texts and voicemail to our support numberGoogle Play distributes our apps and processes the Pro purchase. Your Android backup is a service of your own Google account. Our support phone number is a Google Voice number.
Microsoft (Microsoft 365)Emails you send to support@ or hello@Our business email is hosted by Microsoft.
Our website hostShort-lived server logs (IP address, page, time, browser type)Serving and protecting this website.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else. We have no advertising partners and no analytics providers.

10. How we protect information

App data lives in the app's private storage on your device, protected by Android's app isolation and your device lock. This website is served over HTTPS. Email sits in a business mailbox hosted by Microsoft, with access limited to the studio; calls, texts and voicemail to our support number pass through Google Voice, a Google service, with the same limited access. We do not export your messages to other tools. Because we hold so little, the practical risk to you is small; if we ever learned of a breach affecting personal information we hold, we would tell the people affected and any authority the law requires.

11. Retention and deletion

  • App data: stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. We never have a copy. Your Android backup is governed by your Google account settings.
  • Purchase records: held by Google Play under Google's policies. We keep no purchase database.
  • Email, calls, texts and voicemail you send us (email through Microsoft 365; calls and texts through our Google Voice number): kept for up to 24 months after your request is closed, then deleted, unless we must keep a record longer (for example, a refund dispute or a legal requirement). You can ask us to delete your correspondence sooner.
  • Hosting logs: kept by our website host for its own short retention period and not copied by us.

12. Children

This website and our apps are intended for people aged 13 and older. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Our apps send us no personal information from anyone. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information by email, text or phone, contact support@rejectedaltsstudios.com and we will delete it.

13. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you (for most people, only the emails, calls, texts or voicemails you sent us), ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to support@rejectedaltsstudios.com. We will reply within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the address or number in question. Sections 14 and 15 add the specific rights for California, the EU and the UK.

14. California residents (CalOPPA)

This section is provided under the California Online Privacy Protection Act.

  • Categories of personally identifiable information we collect: through this website and our apps, none. Through email or phone contact, your contact details (email address, phone number, name if given) and the content of your message.
  • Categories of third parties we share it with: none for marketing or sale. Google receives your purchase data when you buy Pro through Google Play, holds your own device backup if you use it, and carries calls and texts to our support number (Google Voice); Microsoft hosts our email; our website host keeps server logs. See section 9.
  • Reviewing and changing your information: email us; we will show you what we hold (your correspondence), correct it or delete it.
  • How we notify you of material changes: by posting the new policy here with a new effective date at the top; for a change that affects an app, also in that app's release notes on Google Play. See section 17.
  • Effective date: shown at the top of this page.
  • Do Not Track: see section 16.
  • Third-party collection across sites over time: we do not allow any third party to collect personally identifiable information about your activities over time and across different websites through our site or apps. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.

15. EU and UK residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the following applies under the General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR.

  • Controller: RejectedAlts Studios, as named in section 1, Avon, Ohio, United States, support@rejectedaltsstudios.com.
  • What we process and why: (a) your contact details and message when you email, call or text us, to respond to you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)), or to perform the purchase contract when the message concerns a Pro purchase or refund (Article 6(1)(b)); (b) nothing through the apps themselves, because they send us no data; (c) website server logs, kept by our host to run and secure the site, on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). Your Pro purchase is processed by Google Play, which is an independent controller for the payment.
  • Recipients: Microsoft (email hosting), Google (purchases, the device backup you control, and Google Voice for calls and texts to our support number) and our website host, each as described in section 9. No one else.
  • International transfers: we are in the United States, so anything you email, call or text us about is processed there. Your email reaches us through Microsoft (our email host) and your calls, texts and voicemail through Google (our phone service); each of them publishes how it protects the data it handles. If you want to know more, email support@rejectedaltsstudios.com. Google handles any transfer involved in your purchase under its own policies.
  • Is giving us your details required? No. Contacting us is voluntary; without an email address or phone number we have no way to reply, and a refund request needs your Google Play order number so Google Play can act on it.
  • Retention: section 11 (email, calls, texts and voicemail: up to 24 months after your request is closed).
  • Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise any right, email us; we reply within one month.
  • Complaints: you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
  • No automated decisions: we make no automated decisions or profiling about you.
  • EU representative: we have not appointed a representative in the EU or UK. Our processing of EU and UK personal data is occasional, small in scale, involves no special categories of data and is unlikely to result in a risk to your rights (Article 27(2)(a)). If that changes, this section will be updated.

16. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because this website does not track visitors at all, there is nothing for us to switch off: every visitor is treated as if the signal were on.

17. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, the new version is posted at this address with the effective date updated at the top. If a change is material, for example an app starting to collect data, we will also note it in that app's release notes on Google Play and, where we have been in contact with you, by email. Earlier versions are available on request.
